The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest non-soap washing and cleaning preparations supplier in Asia, comprising 32% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Indonesia ($X), with a 12% share of total exports. It was followed by Japan, with a 7.2% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in China totaled +7.3%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Indonesia (+15.2% per year) and Japan (+4.0% per year).

Imports into China increased at an average annual rate of +8.8% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, the United Arab Emirates (+11.1%), Vietnam (+10.8%), the Philippines (+10.2%), India (+8.4%), Saudi Arabia (+6.7%), Israel (+6.4%), Kazakhstan (+6.2%), Iraq (+4.2%), Malaysia (+3.1%), Turkey (+2.9%) and Japan (+2.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the United Arab Emirates emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Asia, with a CAGR of +11.1% from 2012-2022. Hong Kong SAR experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. China (+4.6 p.p.) and the United Arab Emirates (+2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Turkey, Malaysia, Japan and Hong Kong SAR saw its share reduced by -1.6%, -1.6%, -1.7% and -2% from 2012 to 2022, respectively.
