Among the main exporting countries, Vietnam, with a CAGR of +65.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Asia stood at $X per ton in 2022, with an increase of 17% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($X per ton), while Turkey ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Indonesia (+3.0%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Kuwait (X tons), China (X tons), Oman (X tons) and the United Arab Emirates (X tons) represented roughly 43% of total imports in 2022. Palestine (X tons) held the next position in the ranking, followed by Cambodia (X tons), Singapore (X tons), Bahrain (X tons) and Hong Kong SAR (X tons). All these countries together took approx. 26% share of total imports. Lao People's Democratic Republic (X tons), the Philippines (X tons), Vietnam (X tons) and Kazakhstan (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Cambodia (with a CAGR of +61.3%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest yoghurt importing markets in Asia were the United Arab Emirates ($X), China ($X) and Hong Kong SAR ($X), together comprising 32% of total imports. Singapore, Kuwait, Oman, Palestine, Cambodia, Bahrain, the Philippines, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Vietnam and Kazakhstan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 48%.
Among the main importing countries, Cambodia, with a CAGR of +61.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2022, the import price in Asia amounted to $X per ton, rising by 3.7% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 12%. Over the period under review, import prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($X per ton), while Oman ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
