Australia prevails in exports structure, recording X tons, which was approx. 98% of total exports in 2021. New Zealand (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.
Australia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of artificial and prepared waxes of polyethylene glycol. In value terms, polyethylene glycol wax imports amounted to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.4% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 22%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
