Imports in Australia and Oceania

In 2022, chicken table egg imports in Australia and Oceania reduced slightly to X tons, with a decrease of -2.4% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports showed a mild setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 58%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, chicken table egg imports fell to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a noticeable reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 111%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

Micronesia represented the largest importer of chicken table eggs in Australia and Oceania, with the volume of imports amounting to X tons, which was near 39% of total imports in 2022. Import Prices by Country
