From 2016 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Australia (X units) was the largest exporter of continuous and discontinuous totalisers in Australia and Oceania, comprising 99% of total export.
Australia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the continuous and discontinuous totalisers exports, with a CAGR of -18.6% from 2012 to 2021. The shares of the largest exporters remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, totaliser imports shrank to $X in 2021. Overall, imports enjoyed a measured increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 79% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Australia was the major importing country with an import of about X units, which amounted to 74% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Fiji (X units), constituting a 20% share of total imports. New Zealand (X units) and Papua New Guinea (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to totaliser imports into Australia stood at +21.3%. At the same time, Fiji (+37.3%) and New Zealand (+10.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Fiji emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Australia and Oceania, with a CAGR of +37.3% from 2012-2021. By contrast, Papua New Guinea (-23.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Australia (+38 p.p.) and Fiji (+16 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Papua New Guinea saw its share reduced by -48.9% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Australia ($X), New Zealand ($X) and Papua New Guinea ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, together comprising 98% of total imports.
New Zealand, with a CAGR of +11.1%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in Australia and Oceania amounted to $X per unit, falling by -19.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a deep setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the import price increased by 509%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2017 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was New Zealand ($X per unit), while Fiji ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Papua New Guinea (+6.0%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
