Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, dry bean exports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 254% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

The biggest shipments were from Australia (X tons), together recording 100% of total export.
Australia was also the fastest-growing in terms of the beans (dry) exports, with a CAGR of +1.9% from 2012 to 2022. The shares of the largest exporters remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

New Caledonia, with a CAGR of +17.9%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Australia and Oceania amounted to $X per ton, surging by 13% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
