Moreover, Fiji emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Australia and Oceania, with a CAGR of +29.2% from 2012-2021. Guam experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Fiji (+4.3 p.p.), Tuvalu (+4.3 p.p.), Guam (+3.6 p.p.), Tonga (+2.4 p.p.), Marshall Islands (+2.4 p.p.) and Wallis and Futuna Islands (+2.2 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Australia saw its share reduced by -13.5% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Australia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported fire-fighting vehicles in Australia and Oceania, comprising 61% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Papua New Guinea ($X), with a 6.9% share of total imports. It was followed by Wallis and Futuna Islands, with a 5.2% share.
