In 2021, the fructose market in Australia and Oceania decreased by -0.8% to $X, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, consumption, however, saw a pronounced reduction. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.
