Exports in Australia and Oceania

Furnace burner exports surged to X tons in 2021, increasing by 26% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a pronounced contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 187% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, furnace burner exports fell notably to $X in 2021. In general, exports, however, saw a deep slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by 126%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, overseas purchases of furnace burners, mechanical stokers, mechanical grates and mechanical ash dischargers increased by 37% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after three years of decline. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 92%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, furnace burner imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 75% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
