Australia was the key importer of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Australia and Oceania, with the volume of imports recording X tons, which was near 83% of total imports in 2022. It was distantly followed by New Zealand (X tons), committing a 10% share of total imports. Fiji (X tons) and French Polynesia (X tons) took a little share of total imports.

At the same time, New Zealand (+16.4%), Fiji (+3.9%) and French Polynesia (+1.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. In Australia, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by an average annual rate of -4.5% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: New Zealand (+9.2% per year) and Fiji (+6.3% per year).
