From 2016 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Australia (X units) was the major exporter of non-electrical lamps and lighting fittings, constituting 73% of total exports. It was distantly followed by New Zealand (X units), mixing up a 25% share of total exports. Fiji (X units) held a relatively small share of total exports.
Exports from Australia decreased at an average annual rate of -6.1% from 2012 to 2021. Fiji (-2.3%) and New Zealand (-10.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Australia (+8.6 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while New Zealand saw its share reduced by -8.8% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. In Australia, non-electrical lamp exports decreased by an average annual rate of -6.7% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: New Zealand (-17.4% per year) and Fiji (+15.9% per year).

In 2021, the export price in Australia and Oceania amounted to $X per unit, increasing by 13% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a pronounced decrease. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
