At the same time, Kiribati (+14.7%), Tonga (+11.7%), Samoa (+7.7%), Cook Islands (+3.9%) and French Polynesia (+3.7%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Kiribati emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Australia and Oceania, with a CAGR of +14.7% from 2012-2021. Vanuatu experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. While the share of Samoa (+4 p.p.), French Polynesia (+4 p.p.) and Tonga (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2021, the share of Fiji (-8.6 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
