From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Australia was the main exporter of printing components in Australia and Oceania, with the volume of exports finishing at X tons, which was near 66% of total exports in 2022. New Zealand (X tons) took a 29% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Fiji (4.9%).
Exports from Australia decreased at an average annual rate of -18.6% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Fiji (+14.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Fiji emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Australia and Oceania, with a CAGR of +14.5% from 2012-2022. By contrast, New Zealand (-13.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of New Zealand and Fiji increased by +9.3 and +4.7 percentage points, respectively.
In value terms, Australia ($X) remains the largest printing components supplier in Australia and Oceania, comprising 82% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by New Zealand ($X), with a 14% share of total exports.
In Australia, printing components exports contracted by an average annual rate of -10.1% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: New Zealand (-15.6% per year) and Fiji (+13.9% per year).

In value terms, printing components imports contracted rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 49% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Australia was the key importing country with an import of about X tons, which reached 59% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Fiji (X tons) and New Zealand (X tons), together creating a 34% share of total imports. Samoa (X tons) took a minor share of total imports.
Imports into Australia decreased at an average annual rate of -18.9% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Fiji (+33.7%) and Samoa (+18.5%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Fiji emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Australia and Oceania, with a CAGR of +33.7% from 2012-2022. By contrast, New Zealand (-12.8%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Fiji (+24 p.p.), Samoa (+3.7 p.p.) and New Zealand (+2.8 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2022, the share of Australia (-30.1 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.
In value terms, Australia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported printing components in Australia and Oceania, comprising 57% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by New Zealand ($X), with a 19% share of total imports. It was followed by Fiji, with an 18% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Australia totaled -17.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: New Zealand (-10.9% per year) and Fiji (+21.4% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Australia and Oceania stood at $X per ton in 2022, standing approx. at the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, enjoyed a modest expansion.
