In 2021, shipments abroad of caustic soda in the solid form increased by 3.4% to X tons, rising for the third year in a row after two years of decline. Overall, exports posted buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 196%. Over the period under review, the exports of caustic soda in solid form reached the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, exports of caustic soda in the solid form rose sharply to $X in 2021. In general, exports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 225%. Over the period under review, the exports of caustic soda in solid form reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
