In 2022, overseas purchases of water-skis, surfboards and sailboards increased by 5.6% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after three years of decline. Overall, imports posted a modest expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 65%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, water-skis and surfboards imports amounted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 68%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

Australia was the major importer of water-skis, surfboards and sailboards in Australia and Oceania, with the volume of imports finishing at X units, which was approx. 77% of total imports in 2022.
