In 2022, the Australian avocado market decreased by -1.1% to $X, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. In 2022, New Zealand (X tons) was the main avocado supplier to Australia, with a 94% share of total imports. Moreover, avocado imports from New Zealand exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Chile (X tons), more than tenfold.
