The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 15% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

In 2021, the Netherlands (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of coffee extract to Australia, accounting for a 47% share of total imports. Moreover, coffee extract imports from the Netherlands exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Thailand (X tons), sixfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Germany (X tons), with an 8.1% share.
