The Australian filter paper market fell slightly to $X in 2021, waning by -2% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, filter paper imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 47% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
