Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X units) was the main destination for electronic lamp machine exports from Australia, accounting for a 90% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 8,000%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2020, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

In value terms, electronic lamp machine imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 1,264% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2020, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

South Africa (X units), the UK (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of electronic lamp machine imports to Australia, with a combined 99% share of total imports.
