The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

The United States (X units), New Zealand (X units) and Japan (X units) were the main destinations of textile weaving and knitting machinery exports from Australia, with a combined 65% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Japan (with a CAGR of +29.3%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the United States ($X), China ($X) and New Zealand ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for textile weaving and knitting machinery exported from Australia worldwide, with a combined 65% share of total exports. In value terms, textile weaving and knitting machinery imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a pronounced expansion.
