The Australian non-household fan market contracted rapidly to $X in 2022, shrinking by -46.3% against the previous year. New Zealand (X units) was the main destination for non-household fan exports from Australia, with a 42% share of total exports. Moreover, non-household fan exports to New Zealand exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Saudi Arabia (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by the United States (X units), with a 9% share.

In value terms, the largest markets for non-household fan exported from Australia were New Zealand ($X), the United States ($X) and Brazil ($X), together comprising 57% of total exports.
Brazil, with a CAGR of +51.0%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-household fan export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, increasing by 23% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 65%. The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Brazil ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Saudi Arabia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

After three years of growth, purchases abroad of non-household ventilation fans decreased by -50.6% to X units in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a mild decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X units in 2021, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.
In value terms, non-household fan imports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest non-household fan supplier to Australia, with a 71% share of total imports. Moreover, non-household fan imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X units), more than tenfold. Taiwan (Chinese) (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 4.3% share.

New Zealand, with a CAGR of +16.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average non-household fan import price amounted to $X per unit, growing by 13% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average import price increased by 36%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
