As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

New Zealand (X tons), China (X tons) and Pakistan (X tons) were the main suppliers of salt imports to Australia, together comprising 73% of total imports. India, Germany, Belgium and Israel lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 18%.
