In value terms, x-ray generator imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a mild shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 57%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

Germany (X tons), the United States (X tons) and Japan (X tons) were the main suppliers of x-ray generator imports to Australia, together accounting for 63% of total imports.
