In value terms, electric board, desk and panel exports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total exports indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +60.4% against 2017 indices. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X units), the Czech Republic (X units) and Slovenia (X units) were the main destinations of electric board, desk and panel exports from Austria, with a combined 55% share of total exports. Qatar, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, the UK, Belgium, Romania, Israel and Serbia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 35%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Qatar (with a CAGR of +44.1%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
