For the third consecutive year, the Austrian lifting equipment market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -92.2% to $X in 2021. In general, consumption recorded a dramatic decrease. Lifting equipment consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, lifting equipment production dropped dramatically to $X in 2021 estimated in export price. Over the period under review, production continues to indicate a precipitous shrinkage. Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Canada ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
