After four years of growth, supplies from abroad of alcohols and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives decreased by -X% to X tons in 2020. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, alcohols imports fell rapidly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010 when imports increased by X% y-o-y.
