Georgia (X tons) was the main destination for non-woven glass fibre articles exports from Azerbaijan, with a 98% share of total exports. It was followed by Tajikistan (X kg), with a 1.7% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Georgia totaled +13.1%.
In value terms, Georgia ($X) remains the key foreign market for non-woven glass fibre webs, felts, mattresses and boards exports from Azerbaijan, comprising 91% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Tajikistan ($X), with a 9.2% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Georgia totaled +10.9%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when imports increased by 33% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, non-woven glass fibre articles imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable descent.
