Positive Displacement Pump Market Size in Azerbaijan

The UK (X units), Russia (X units) and Georgia (X units) were the main destinations of positive displacement pump exports from Azerbaijan, with a combined 78% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Russia (with a CAGR of +17.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for positive displacement pumps and hand pumps exports from Azerbaijan, comprising 94% of total exports. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 142%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Turkey (X units) constituted the largest positive displacement pump supplier to Azerbaijan, with a 70% share of total imports. Moreover, positive displacement pump imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X units), threefold.
