Sausage Market Size in Azerbaijan

Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 87% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, sausage imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports recorded significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 248%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In 2021, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of sausage to Azerbaijan, accounting for a 76% share of total imports. Moreover, sausage imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), ninefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Belarus (X tons), with a 7.1% share.
