New Zealand (X tons), Comoros (X tons) and Saudi Arabia (X tons) were the main destinations of mineral or aerated water exports from Bangladesh, together comprising 55% of total exports. Malaysia, Australia, Oman and France lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 35%.

In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 97%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, mineral or aerated water imports declined modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 81%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

France (X tons), Sri Lanka (X tons) and Bhutan (X tons) were the main suppliers of mineral or aerated water imports to Bangladesh, with a combined 34% share of total imports.
