Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 396%. Imports peaked at X units in 2021, and then declined dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, nickel and lithium accumulators imports dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 255%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then reduced markedly in the following year.
