In value terms, polyacetals imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 35% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

South Korea (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) were the main suppliers of polyacetals imports to Bangladesh, together accounting for 59% of total imports. Malaysia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India and Singapore lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 16%.
