In value terms, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a resilient expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 815%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Saudi Arabia (X tons) was the main destination for raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry exports from Bangladesh, accounting for a 87% share of total exports. It was followed by Finland (X kg), with a 2.1% share of total exports.

In general, imports enjoyed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 592% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports expanded remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 530% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The United Arab Emirates (X kg), the Netherlands (X kg) and Canada (X kg) were the main suppliers of raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and cranberry imports to Bangladesh, with a combined 25% share of total imports.
