In 2022, sugary soft drink imports into Bangladesh shrank significantly to X litres, declining by -28.3% on the year before. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 508%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X litres. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Singapore totaled +13.0%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Australia (+69.4% per year) and the UK (-4.8% per year).
