Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 7.4%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Slovakia (X tons), China (X tons) and Russia (X tons) were the main suppliers of amine-function compounds imports to Belarus, together comprising 63% of total imports. These countries were followed by Belgium, Poland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Lithuania and Austria, which together accounted for a further 20%.
