The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 36% against the previous year. Russia (X tons) was the main destination for electrical circuit apparatus exports from Belarus, accounting for a 85% share of total exports. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 35%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, electrical circuit apparatus imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, total imports indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +89.7% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 37%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

Russia (X tons), China (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of electrical circuit apparatus imports to Belarus, with a combined 74% share of total imports. Turkey, Poland, Italy and Ukraine lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 16%.
