Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 241% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then shrank notably in the following year.

In value terms, festive articles imports amounted to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 90%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.
