The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by 104% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2021, and then fell sharply in the following year.
Exports by Country
Russia (X tons), Hong Kong SAR (X tons) and Vietnam (X tons) were the main destinations of animal guts exports from Belarus, together accounting for 82% of total exports. Poland and Ukraine lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 16%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Poland (with a CAGR of +39.4%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Belarus
In 2022, animal guts imports into Belarus expanded modestly to X tons, growing by 2.6% against the previous year. Overall, imports posted a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 99% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 79% against the previous year. In 2022, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest animal guts supplier to Belarus, with a 59% share of total imports. Moreover, animal guts imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Portugal (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Argentina (X tons), with a 12% share.
