In value terms, honey exports contracted notably to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 1,825% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then plummeted in the following year.

The United States (X tons) was the main destination for honey exports from Belarus, accounting for a 91% share of total exports. Moreover, honey exports to the United States exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Russia (X tons), more than tenfold.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to the United States amounted to +113.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Russia (-5.0% per year) and Japan (+37.3% per year).
In value terms, the United States ($X) remains the key foreign market for honey exports from Belarus, comprising 87% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Russia ($X), with a 9.6% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to the United States amounted to +95.1%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Russia (-7.0% per year) and Japan (+29.9% per year).

The average honey export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, waning by -11.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt contraction. In 2022, Russia (X tons) constituted the largest honey supplier to Belarus, accounting for a 87% share of total imports. Moreover, honey imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Ukraine (X tons), sevenfold.
