Russia (X units) was the main destination for food manufacture machinery exports from Belarus, accounting for a 96% share of total exports. It was followed by Uzbekistan (X units), with a 2.3% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Russia amounted to +32.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Uzbekistan (+49.5% per year) and Ukraine (-22.2% per year).
In value terms, Russia ($X) remains the key foreign market for machinery for the preparation or manufacture of food or drink exports from Belarus, comprising 86% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Uzbekistan ($X), with a 3.3% share of total exports.

Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a prominent increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 606%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
