Overall, exports saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 73% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of attained the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments soared to $X in 2021. In general, exports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 122% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

Russia (X units) was the main destination for exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments from Belarus, with a 81% share of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Latvia ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 3.7% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Russia stood at +7.3%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Latvia (+44.7% per year) and Germany (+94.4% per year).

In 2021, the average export price for non-woven, felt and coated textile garments amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 20% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 48%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2012; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+2.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Belarus
Imports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments into Belarus skyrocketed to X units in 2021, jumping by 28% on 2020. Over the period under review, imports saw a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 88%. Over the period under review, imports of reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, imports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports posted a strong expansion. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Russia totaled +16.2%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (+19.4% per year) and Myanmar (+195.1% per year).

In 2021, the average import price for non-woven, felt and coated textile garments amounted to $X per unit, rising by 5.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 36% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
