The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 205% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Italy (X square meters) constituted the largest patent leather supplier to Belarus, accounting for a 26% share of total imports. Moreover, patent leather imports from Italy exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Poland (X square meters), fourfold.
