Estonia (X tons) was the main destination for refined soybean oil exports from Belarus, accounting for a 45% share of total exports. Moreover, refined soybean oil exports to Estonia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Jordan (X tons), eightfold.

From 2018 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to Estonia stood at -16.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Jordan (0.0% per year) and Israel (-78.4% per year).

In value terms, Estonia ($X) remains the key foreign market for refined soybean oil and its fractions exports from Belarus, comprising 44% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Jordan ($X), with a 7.5% share of total exports.

From 2018 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Estonia stood at +23.8%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Jordan (0.0% per year) and Israel (-59.8% per year).

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, refined soybean oil imports dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 195%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia (X tons), Argentina (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of refined soybean oil imports to Belarus, with a combined 49% share of total imports.
