The third position in this ranking was held by Moldova (X tons), with a 6.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Australia totaled +6.5%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Russia (-4.3% per year) and Spain (+11.8% per year).

The average sheepskin and lambskin import price stood at $X per ton in 2022, falling by -3.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a abrupt decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 8.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
