In value terms, tufted carpet imports expanded to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, posted resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 57% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

In 2022, Turkey (X square meters) constituted the largest tufted carpet supplier to Belarus, accounting for a 43% share of total imports. Moreover, tufted carpet imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Belgium (X square meters), threefold. Russia (X square meters) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 14% share.
