As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then declined sharply in the following year.

Russia (X units), Ukraine (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of truck and bus tyre exports from Belarus, with a combined 73% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Germany (with a CAGR of +109.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Russia ($X), Germany ($X) and Ukraine ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for truck and bus tyre exported from Belarus worldwide, with a combined 69% share of total exports.
Germany, with a CAGR of +124.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average truck and bus tyre export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, declining by -14.8% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated modest growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, truck and bus tyre export price increased by +69.8% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 44%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit, and then shrank in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Belarus
Truck and bus tyre imports into Belarus declined modestly to X units in 2022, with a decrease of -2.2% on the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a strong expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 56% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, truck and bus tyre imports declined to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 48%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then declined in the following year.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Russia (X units) constituted the largest truck and bus tyre supplier to Belarus, with a 65% share of total imports. Moreover, truck and bus tyre imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X units), eightfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by South Korea (X units), with a 5.1% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from Russia totaled +11.3%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (+5.6% per year) and South Korea (+11.2% per year).
In value terms, Russia ($X) constituted the largest supplier of tyres for buses or lorries to Belarus, comprising 75% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by South Korea ($X), with a 4.9% share of total imports. It was followed by China, with a 4% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Russia totaled +8.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: South Korea (+8.4% per year) and China (-2.6% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The average truck and bus tyre import price stood at $X per unit in 2022, waning by -6.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a pronounced decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per unit), while the price for Hungary ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
