The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 147%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, cream fresh imports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, the Netherlands (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of cream fresh to Belgium, with a 84% share of total imports.
