In general, imports recorded a perceptible decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 42%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then declined notably in the following year.

In value terms, festive articles imports fell dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a mild decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 59%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped markedly in the following year.

The Netherlands (X tons), China (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main suppliers of festive articles imports to Belgium, with a combined 93% share of total imports.
