From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, plastic household articles imports dropped markedly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 61% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

In 2022, the Netherlands (X tons) constituted the largest plastic household articles supplier to Belgium, with a 44% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic household articles imports from the Netherlands exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Bulgaria (X tons), with a 7.9% share.
