Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, pacemaker imports contracted to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 210% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2020, and then declined in the following year.

In 2021, Malaysia (X units) constituted the largest supplier of pacemaker to Belgium, with a 71% share of total imports.
